SafeBillz app will help users to store the bills of any purchases easily. It will provide timely reminders for pending services or expiry of warranty on the products they purchased.

The app is developed keeping in view the challenges faced by people in maintaining the physical copies of all bills of expensive household items they buy. It also resolves the challenge of accessing these bills which are required especially when one needs to exercise the warranty claims if the product stops working during the warranty period.

Most of the people do purchase the regular appliances like TV, Refrigerator, AC, Washing machine, Mixer & grinder, Micro woven, Dish washer etc.,

Each of these items comes with specific warranty period which starts from the date of purchase and customers are expected to keep the bill if they need to exercise their rights on warranty if a need arises. There is a high possibility of losing these physical copies of the bills and hence it becomes difficult for them to exercise their rights on warranty in the absence of the bill. It also makes it difficult to remember the different warranty dates and if any of them are going to expire in near future. Often some of these items come with a set of free servicing and people lose out on them as they do not remember the dates within which they need to exercise the free service options.

SafeBillz will solve all the above problems. It is a very simple app designed to maintain the physical bills in cloud as an image and tag the bill with relevant dates for service and warranty along with some details on manufacturer and Product.

User needs to register first time. Once registered, the details of bills and products can be added to the app. User can take a snap of physical bill using camera option in app and upload the image for future reference. All the details entered by user will be stored in cloud (azure) and user can retrieve the details whenever required. Based on the details entered for each product, the app will show reminders for the products due for service on that day, current week and current month. Similarly, the app will also show reminders if there is any products warranty expires on that day, current week and current month. User will also have flexibility to update the bill details and product details any time.
